It hasn't always been easy
I've been through times that beat me down
I couldn't always reveal these
Empty feelings turning me around
But when I sat there with my soul on shifting sands

When I couldn't see myself
You'd get me through the day

When I needed to get well
You were always there to help me find my way

Twists and turns put in your path
