30 years ago the Enfield Schools Jazz Orchestra was the best big band in the world. Well... it felt like that sometimes! During 2020's Covid Lockdown a group from the original line-up, including the inimitable John O'Neill who led the band, have recorded one of the tunes we loved to play back in the day. The track features a stunning rhythm-section of Alex Toff, Lucy Shaw and Katy Strudwick, horns by John himself, Sarah Parkin, Caroline Liversidge, Ben Cosh and Danny Liversidge, and a special guest appearance by brilliant young superstar Artis Aleksejevs. Made with love and the internet.
